Well recruit lucky number 13 has verbally committed to the Fighting Irish. Sheldon is a defensive tackle thought to either in the bag or leaning heavily to Michigan. His mug shot is half way down on the left side of the Blog.
When the final ratings are in, Sheldon could be a five star recruit. We are not sure if he has visited the campus either officially or unofficially.
Brian Kelly is building a strong defense. One that makes an average offense good enough to win the big games and play with the big boys. We got Lynch, Tuitt, Nix, Councell, Niklas, Rabasa, and Ishaq and now Day. This makes it easier to build a defensive backfield full of top players as well. Who wouoldn't want to play behind those guys?
As a footnote, Kelly has 200+ offers out to possible recruits.
