Notre Dame Game Participation Versus Michigan

Interesting that only 40 players participated in the game against Michigan versus 52 against USF.

Curious as well:

Nix got the start over Cwynar who did not even play.

Cowart is the long snapper and did not play.  Remember the two one-bounce snaps to Turk?  Was that Cave?

Apparently not only did the starters play most of the game but on special teams as well.
