Notre Dame Unemployed

Two Irish are still in the hunt for jobs this fall.

It was a great weekend for Irish football players. I'm disappointed that Ruffer didn't find a place to play, though. Considering how integral his kicking was to our success (measured, as it may have been), I'd have thought some team would take a flyer on him. Sadly, it was not to be. I hope he gets on somewhere. He was all but automatic for the entirety of the 2010 season.

In 2011 Ruffer was a mystery.

Sadly with his wayward leg he could have won us two games. He was part of the meltdown in the USF game where Gray and Riddick fumbled, the QB’s were throwing Picks and David missed a gimmie chip shot.

I don’t know how well he did at Pro Day at the Bend. You would think he could get some tryouts.
