Notre Dame and Some Numbers


Nationally speaking:

Irish rushing offense went from 84th to 40th thanks to the Canes.

Still the only Team not to trail in a football game this year.

2nd in scoring defense, 17th in rushing defense, 10th in pass-efficiency defense, 20th in sacks, 13th in total defense.

Have allowed 0 rushing touchdowns and scored 13.

Allowed 7.8 points per game.

Allowed no TD in last 3 games.

Allowed only 4 FG in last 3 games.

In the last 19 games, allowed 16 points in the third quarter.  (Half-time adjustments?)

1 of 14 undefeated teams.

From the Miami game:

George Atkinson III leads the team in rushing:  292783 with 9.3 average per carry.

Everett Golson:  671113 with 60.4% completion.

13 players have a reception.

2nd half only 3 pass plays.

2 fumbles, neither lost. (Everett Golson and Cierre Wood)

8 kick-offs 2 for touchbacks.

1 kick-off return for 13 yards.

Manti Te’o lead Team with 10 tackles.

Jack Golic and Tate Nichols made 1st  game appearances this year.
