Notre Dame Football Freshman Class Strength and Condition

Paul Longo ND Conditioning and Strength Coach

August 2, 2011 – South Bend IN –Wednesday 5:15 – 6:00  p.m. EDST
Notre Dame Head Coach Brian Kelly fielded idiot questions for 45 minutes on WSBT, via computer link.  We listened and sipped beer here at the SAS.

The only nugget from a bevy of stupid questions was the following response Kelly gave concerning the incoming freshman football class.
Kelly: According to Paul Longo the conditioning coach, this is the best in shape and conditioned class/group of incoming freshman he has ever seen.

That is a tribute to recruiting, dedication of the young men and the prescribed nutritional, conditioning and weight discipline regimentation provided each recruit back on National Signing Day (or earlier).
That is indeed a good sign.

We like good signs.  They add up to BCS caliber teams.
